Obama plan

I have done a Loan mod back in May of 2009, and my wife wasn't back to work until September and and I was still having my hours cut back at work so we got behind on our payments 30 days late. So I called AHMSI and talked to a rep and he said if I pay the 2 months owed on our loan we could try and do a Obama plan mod,I was wondering if we could have our house payment lowered again, our previous loan mod wasn't a Obama plan mod. So I was wondering if the new mod would truly be better?

There is no reason that you should have to make payments to qualify for the obama plan. Many borrowers qualify while they are behind on their mortgage.

One thing though some lenders require you wait at least a year from the time you recieve a modification until you can reapply for a new one...
