I have noticed all their letters in the past were from them not a collection agency. I am late on my mortgage. I just started a home affordable modification process has not been assigned to anyone yet. The letter states I need to pay this amount by this date. I have set up payment arrangements and post dated checks, does not count for anything? THey have told me specifically that if I set up payment arrangements with post dated checks for my mortgage, I should be ok and just need to catch up asap. Is that not the case anymore? They want to close on me even if I am behind one month on my first and 4 months on my second. Any ideas. I'm scared. |

But if you are only one month behind on your first mortgage you should have a while before the actual foreclosure date is set. You will need to resolve your second as well, but the second will most often not choose to foreclose..

Second, I sent all my paper work in for my loan modification under the obama plan. What do you think? I talk to Ahmsi almost every week. I'm starting to get annoyed with them. |

Remember the foreclosure process will continue until you catch up on payments or the foreclosure is postponed due to the modification request..
