Loan Mod?? originally approved, than...

We submitted our loan modification package, with information within this site and have had some success until recently. We were told by the negotiator that it was approved and we should have the documents via mail to sign and send back...all is well....
Within a day or two we get a call saying that we will have to make a payment in order for this to work. We're ok with that except for we had just paid out bills at that point, told her we could pay the payment out of our next check which is two weeks tomorrow. We were never told this was acceptable, and have been unable to get a call back from our negotiater.
Currently we are behind and filing chapter 7 to eliminate our consumer debt and qualify for the mod. Hoping to keep our home but 4 months behind if they don't/can't modify we would like to know so we can make our best decisions as we would not be able to come up with the past due.

Should we contact Jeanne Drake directly???
Only looking for a 1 minute confirmation of yes or no that this is going to work....

Sorry for the long post,

Any input greatly appreciated

You can contact her office if you would like to she if someone there can help. But you will most likely need to keep calling your negoitator and possibly their supervisor. They should be able to extend that payment a couple weeks..

Sorry but Jeanne drake works for Citi not AHMSI.

I would have to suggest waiting to speak with your negoitator to get the OK before making the payment..

All of the posts here have said that Jeanne Drake works for AHMSI, not Citi.

Re: Loan Mod?? originally approved, than...

Jeanne Drake does work for AHMS, originally sent our docs to her office. We made the payment yesterday, left a message with Jeanne Drake. Later in the day our negotiater answered my call and an hour later she actually called my wife as well. Back on track for now, will let you know how things work out.

Thanks for the support
