Loan Mod

Make a long story short. I first start all this back in march 09, They said it wasn't approved because I didn't send all paperwork. I resent all paper work. Month later they said not approved because I had too much debt going out and not enought income coming in(umm I thought this is why they do loan mod ). So I told them, they need to recal my income because I just got a pay raise and other things have changed. I had to take my kids out of daycare. So now, it's been since april they had all this new info. They told me in late jun, I could call in July and they would have a answer for me. I called 1 July no new answer. I have called evey week with the samething. My interst is at 11.8%. I was trying to refinace my house in dec 08 but the value of my house wouldn't allow me to plus I need like 9k as well. This is the reason I tried a loan mod. I have been kinda lucky and not been late on my payment since I got it. I however had to use my bank overdraft to cover alot of the house payments. I did send Mrs Drake an email and got responce back the same day, telling someone to look at my case. How long does it normally take after Mrs Drake has someone look at my case. I mean, do I have to start missing payments before they do anything with my case? Also want to thank this site for all the information I needed to get ahold of Mrs Drake

I did send Mrs Drake an email and got responce back the same day, telling someone to look at my case. How long does it normally take after Mrs Drake has someone look at my case. I mean, do I have to start missing payments before they do anything with my case? Also want to thank this site for all the information I needed to get ahold of Mrs Drake

It may take a few days for her to get someone assigned to your case and from there hopefully the process will go more smoothly.

Also it does seem easier to get a modification while deliquent, but some people do achieve them while current as well..

I been calling every week and still no word on my mod. When I called last week, I could hardly understand them, but they said something about me having to pay $500 for loan mod. I even sent Mrs drake another email because I got harrassed by the last CS agent. I wanted to go threw the phone and make them swallow there own teeth.

I would just keep calling and calling. Each rep you speak to will most likely have different information to tell you. Also I do not know why in the world you would have to pay 500 just to apply for a loan mod...

Update, I sent another email to Mrs. Drake and my case been reassign to another person. So we'll see how this goes..

You need to start documenting each contact: Who, When, their direct # and email if possible, and the content of all that was said.

I'm getting the same run around ....you are not alone. Any chance you could give me Jeanne Drake's email. I have called her and she also never returned my calls or my attorneys call for that matter. Thanks for your help.

Thanks so much! I spoke with Valerie. She was able to help me. They are sending me a Hamp Mod packet that has to be filled out and sent back. Keeping my fingers crossed that this has a happy ending. I will let everyone know the outcome.
