After the mod question - Loan Modification Forum

We got a mod in July, first payment due in Sept. Just looked on the website and it shows our new payment but it still shows a negative escrow balance and $232 in late charges. These changes were made on 07/22 and 07/23. The thing is on the schedule A they show $3500 for escrow and $232 for late changes. They have not paid our 2009/2010 taxes yet as they are not due until next month. Does anyone know if I'm being inpatient in that it has not shown up yet as a positive escrow balance and zero balance for the late charges or have they screwed up? I do have a call into our negotiator as I do not know who else to call.

If you signed nothing in writing then it is possible they will allow you to make half payments till a decesion on which if any program and whgat your real payments will be

My modification is all signed, sealed and delivered. My money has not been correctly applied to my escrow.

Our mod was in April with the first payment due June 1. I don't think the escrow was correct until the last week in May! I had to call them several times to get it corrected, too. I told them I would not pay until it was right. My neg. said it was a mistake, the old escrow amounts were still in there, and she went to bat for me to get it correct on the website. Keep bugging them!!
