Phoenxi NACA Save the Dream Event problems just finished

Phoenix attendance was like 5,000 compared to 35,000 last year if I recall the stats from the news but don't see any media posts yet.

Some were upset on the last day Monday because most of the bankers left early since there were so few folks.

NACA was desperate it seems to get more to attend. On Sunday I got yet another (2nd) call from NACA inviting me to attend this terrific event.

NACA doesn't know I was Hamped early 2010, I had gone thru NACA in 2009 when in Phoenix but gave up on them and never updated anything so that is why they think I might still be interested in going.

No totally different from HOPE which is the official HUD Help organization

NACA dislikes HAMP their "solutions" based on fixed rates and no extension of mortgages to 40 years. But rare every accepted But seems in last year or so happy if can at least get a HAMP.

People leave thrilled they have a "solution" and the banker sees but rarely has power apporve and rarely get approved. Usually very hard to talk directed afterwards to anyone at NACA.

But some folks do get help via NACA but probably percentage wise less than going direct to banks. Some banks will not even talk to you directly if your using NACA.

NACA's idea is great just like HAMP is great and its dozen offshoots. Its the servicers refusing to do them in many cases even if qualified and should get via HAMP directives

wow I can't believe the attendance was that low! NACA 2% permanent loan mod only works for certain situations...it really comes down to who owns your loan...it does work if you fall in the guidelines for the rest they are just going to get a temporary mod.

really curious why the attendance was so low...
