Re: ??? NACA problem...

Very annoyed with NACA...it has been over a month and my file with them is still "pending"...meanwhile I was told on 6/5 by the counselor that my file was being submitted as we spoke. Everytime I call NACA, I am told by that particular counselor that they are emailing someone...blah, blah, blah...and to check back in a week or two! I am trying to stay positive about them, but it is becoming increasingly difficult!

I am currently on hold, waiting to speak to someone...started at caller # 89, I am caller # 29 right now, waiting to speak to a representative. I am going to ask to speak to a supervisor. I send them updated paystubs every 2 weeks, have sent them the new hardship affidavit, and the tax request form. Has anyone had their file in pending status for this long?

Re: ??? NACA problem...

Lizzy, hang in there. It took us almost 4 months to get our NACA proposal and documents finalized. Some more and some less. Just keep calling every week and stay on top of it. I know it is hard waiting. Also, if you haven't done so already, call BOA Advocacy Department and make sure that they have your account marked as NACA and also if they do not have your NACA ID #, have them note it on your file.

Re: ??? NACA problem...

I will hang in there....failure at this is not an option for us. Prior to starting with NACA, I had contacted CW/BOA directly to start a modification with them, so my account with CW/BOA is currently "on hold" as far as any collection efforts, etc., which is good because I am not getting collection calls, etc. Including July, I am 3 months past due. I don't want to get any further behind than 3 months if I can help it. I recently sent in my April payment to CW/BOA, but I don't see that it has posted. I have a 2nd mortgage with CW/BOA as well, and that mortgage is current and that payment did post to my account. I hope they don't have my 1st mortgage payment in some La-La land holding place...

I spoke with a rep today that was going to give my message to a supervisor to call me w/in 30 minutes....that was more than 2.5 hours ago...

As far as NACA they have not answered any of my emails or phone calls, so I did file a complaint and yes I am aware they are busy all I asked is a fast update if all my info had been received as my mortgage company still cliamed they knew nothing...??

Try calling the BofA customer advocacy department and see what they say. I had to hold two hours today with NACA to get that information of the proposal.

Thats the problem Citi has too many departments, and when you ask for there manager they hang up on you or transfer you to another department. I was told by Citi 10 calls I qualified for Obamba plan and 12 times I do not and all by different Peeps...Citi is a real joke to call, I have faxed all my info to them least 5 times, my invester has been named 3 different firms... They are a nightmare but we just have to wait on NACA, I am sick of calling people, I do that for a living let it be I have to go home and sit on the telly 4 more hours and get run arounds, but NACA said I could take 90 dauys so I just have to get my mind off this stuff I guess, no foreclosures here I am still current, and trying to keep it that way cause if this falls through I still have the chance to do an FHA streamline refinance which I realy do not want but that or Bankrupsy is in line for last.

I worked the same job 16years and still on it Just our hrs are down for last year and will be like this for some time, so no food just pay bills for now... But thanks to my Kids they help me out alot with food and stuff as NACA actualy told me not to pay Credit card bills and buy food..Huh

LOL CW and Silly World.

Does anyone have the number for B of A's Advocacy Department? I tried to find it on their site, but (big shocker), couldn't find it anywhere.

Thanks!

Thank you dthom and merev.
Is this the number I can call to make sure that B of A has noted on our account that we are working with NACA? Like you Lizzy, we are still "pending" for a little over a month now and in almost every conversation with B of A, I have mentioned NACA (at least three telephone coversations so far).
Also, NACA has never told me to stop paying credit cards. Do you know why that are asking others to do so?

Re: ??? NACA problem...

Woo-Hoo! FINALLY, the magic words I've been waiting to see: Submit to Servicer - Restructure!!! Someone from NACA did call me back today and he overlooked my file as we were on the phone. I guess he is the person that deals with the "pending files", and he told me my file was ready to submit. My status changed on-line as we were on the phone! I'm feeling much more hopeful now! Now the waiting game with CW/BOA to get back to them, etc., but at least I am over one hurdle! :-)

because they look at my debt, If I were to not pay them I couild handle my utilities and food, but little do they know thats a new can of worms if I stop paying on cards, I would never get cought up and filing BK well before I have ever planned

Hey Lizzy! I checked my status on NACA today and saw those same words. No one called me, but, at least the status has changed. So, I guess congratulations to us! Or, maybe half-congrats - we don't know what to expect from CW/BOA yet. But, this is at least a positive.

Re: ??? NACA problem...

Naca told us to do whatever it took to try to make some kind of payment on the mortgage. We can't afford to make the full cc payments anyway now, if we want to even make a partial mortgage payment. Most of cc companies have refused to accept what we can afford to pay, so we are letting them go. I will deal with my credit cards later, they are the least of my worries. I pay all utilities, secured debt(car payments) and mortgage before anything else. But like I said hard to even make the full mortgage payment at this time, so we do what we can. According to NACA this shows CW/BofA that we are more than serious of doing whatever it takes to keep the house, but they never told us not to pay CC. But I would think everyone should do what is best in their particular case when it comes to what to pay or not.
