I just checked my BofA account and I don't have any workouts pending. Does this mean anything? I did have a special forebearance pending and its cancelled as of tonight. Does this mean the foreclosure papers are gonna be rolling in since there is no pending workout? What are they doing over there?!

j-nice...finally talked to David today. I had to call him and ask why they cancelled my workout even though it wasn't what I wanted. He opened a new workout for me and will continue on from here. So after all that was taken care of... I asked him who my investor was and he did say Fannie Mae...

Yea..that's what they told me too when I called. Sorry they couldn't help. I called David to find out what mod was approved and it wasn't something that would not benefit me...or the bank...I'd be calling back to ask for assistance in a couple months. So he cancelled that out. Hopefully I'll have a negotiator that iwill be working on the NACA proposal. The ones that have been assigned to my file has only been assigned to close it out...seems like anyways.

I'm glad you are talking and asking for more help. Fight the good fight. In the end you just have to have a payment you can afford. You know how they say people default on modified loans? Well I think it's because they shove these horrible mods down their throat that they have no chance of affording....

I second that CW. Modify a loan only to have the homeowner default on it again.

rkel11... update on me... I called to see if there was a negotiator assigned to my file and there was. Only to find out later in the day she closed it out. This is about the 5th negotiator assigned to close out my file. This process has really gotten on my nerves! The negotiator that was assigned to my file wasn't a negotiator that works on NACA files. When are they going to get it right?! I was told they had a list of negotiators that worked only on NACA files, and she wasn't on the list. Theres about 20 negotiators. Can you imagine only 20 negotiators working on thousands of files? I guess I gotta call David again.....

I just cant believe they closed your file again. Maybe when it gets assigned they have to open and close? Maybe they keep assigning it wrong? I wonder how many people work on NACA files. I pray you get a good one!

Hello. Any updates on your file? Have you received docs yet. I havent. In fact, I was told that my docs may be coming directly from fannie mae and boa has nothing to do with that. David L told me the docs may come in regular mail. I never heard of this.

Yes CW believe it! I pray everyday I get a good negotiator to get me a good mod. Whomever is assigning the negotiator isn't looking at my account being represented by NACA so they just assign it to a regular FHA negotiator. Right now my account isn't even coded NACA anymore. I emailed David today and hopefully he will try to get this resolved for me. I also contacted NACA and they did say they received an email from Bank of America on July 21st saying my account is being reviewed. The rep said it was a good sign cause most of the time they don't hear back from Bank of America until a month and a half later. Without the right negotiator or no negotiator at all now, that email means nothing.

Since they added a month of interest on I got to skip a payment but I am making Septembers in August so I can get my account corrected. That is something new, the sending of docs from fannie. Maybe this is how they are stream lining the process???

CW, you were one of the lucky ones. I see ama (another member) posting an article about FHA loans are now eligible for the HAMP. Effective 08/15/09. I doubt if I will get it. My loan is under my name only but I submitted paperwork with my husbands income. With just my income I could save $368/month if qualified. Doubt if I would get it though. Maybe after David responds...I will just let things be. I might contact the rep from the office of chairman and have her assign me a senior negotiator. That would mean I have to drop NACA. I'm not sure of what to do anymore. I just wanna be done and continue on with my life.

NACA was able to get my foreclosure stopped. Talked to David at BoA on Thursday, Fannie Mae is still looking into my mod. I feel some relief now that my house isn't up for auction on 8/4.

Update again on my status. I got a letter (fed ex) denying my modification today. Says my income does not support my expenses. I believe they used naca budget sheet. When I called the number on the letter the lady told me I'm negative 232 a month. For an FHA loan you cannot have a deficiency. This is what naca submitted. They don't even know I got denied yet. Why would naca submit my budget to be negative? Is this part of their tactic? Do they not know the FHA guidelines? I have a phone appointment on Saturday. I wanted to go over the budget again. That was the earliest they had and I made that on Friday. Not knowing that the mod that was previously opened and closed was what naca had proposed. Now I am 6 months behind. What am I going to do now?

Is there any way possible to iliminate a bill or 2..?? to increase the income, like if you were 232 in the hole and they require 200 in the plus, I would rent out a room ASAP for 400 a month then your up to snuff

My gross is 4502. Net is 3008. Where is the 1500? I have taxes, insurance deducted and it definately isn't 1500/month! I know I am not negative monthly.

401k deductions..??? Health Deductions..??? They are added to GROSS, not on NET, any other Savings they could add in interest to..???

Just trying to see where they get info from, because I believe certain incomes like IRA, and Large 401ks can show in credit checks..???

But you are the one who wopuld know..All I can say is go with the APP and go over how they got those figures

I can account for $900 of the $1500. There is about $600 they have unaccounted for. That could more than cover for my deficiency. They didn't add my husbands monthly bonus either. We actually have more income than they have stated. I send in check stubs every week since we were submitted. I guess I have to wait til the weekend to talk to them.

why don't you call David on Thurs or Fri and go over the budget numbers. BofA could also be pulling it from your credit report on other expenses you aren't paying?
