This is a discussion on NACA/CW/BofA June Restructure Submissions within the NACA - Get Help From the Neighorbood Assistance Corporation of America forums, part of the Stop Foreclosure and Tell Us Your Story category; I called that once and they could not help. They only have the terms if you did not use NACA....

They don't have the docs yet and it's not NACA's proposal. NACA told me to fax in the docs when I receive it for them to review it. Guess I will wait to see what they have offered. Hope it's good! |

I'm anxious... kinda scared it's the same offer they tried to give me back in June. I spoke to the rep from the presidents office yesterday about my account and she was telling me that my mod is still on hold. But today I see an approval. Weird...She is the sweetest rep I have ever dealt in in any kind of customer service. She called me to apologize for the long process and thanked me for being so patient with her...and told me she wanted to send me a giftcard...WOW! I'm not sure of the value but she asked her supervisor for this approval and once she gets the card in her hand she will call me and let me know she is sending it. Can you believe this? There is a human being working at Bank of America!! I wanted to say you can keep the card and try to get me a better deal on my mod...LoL! But I said thanks and told her she was sweet for doing that. |

But I can turn that down and just stay on the old loan and accept the mod for the first. I talked to a David from OOP and he said that thats pretty much the best I can get because Fannie made that decision. You would think that Fannie being the Gov't would come back with some decent mods. They must be a rouge organization and have their own rules......... |

NACA had me at 2% but I think once Fannie gives their approval amount that is all you are going to get..I am happy with my $250 payment reduction. |

The modifications are made permanent after the homeowner makes three on-time payments. |

The counselor told me that if I declined the offer that I would be put back in line or looking at another 90 days or so. Like starting all over again. I think with the 2nd that it will be over 31%. And NACA is trying to get my 2nd modded to a fixed rate with a 440. payment that would defenately put me over 31%! So they are trying to put me over....... |

Am I looking in the wrong section? I've looked in the July thread and the members in there say they show submitted-restructure. I've emailed them and called but my staus remains the same. Should I be worried? This is how I check my staus....I highlight the homesave box....when the drop down box appears I click staus. Then I log in to see something like the beginning of the process. Can someone tell me if I am looking in the wrong section? Thanks! |

The only problem is that a few of the figures are incorrect. They have our monthly net income listed as $7,154 which is actually $5,257, our utilities our listed as $456 a month, which they are over $1500 a month, no child care listed, etc. What the h*ll? |

I first called Tabetha to find out if she knew what the terms were for my approved modification. Of course she doesn't know. She only makes sure the process is moving. I also told her I was working with naca. She then told me she would have to close out my file because I am with naca. She also gave me the number to Hope Team to see if they had the documents. If they couldn't help me then to call naca and have them email BofA for the mod terms. So I called the Hope Department and they don't have the docs. I called naca (waited for 1 hour) to speak with a rep and he told me that if I was approved for a mod, it was not what they proposed because it's too soon. He told me to ask for the terms in writing (duh!) and fax it to them. I've been calling everyone to find out the terms but BofA doesn't have have the info or are not allowed to give it out because of their contract with naca. I asked him for the name of naca negotiator and he told me there are 2 but doesn't know which one is actually working on my file. All I need is for naca to email BofA to ask for the terms of the mod. Even if it isn't their proposal. So I wasn't satisfied with that conversation I decided to call JRucker. She wasn't a pleasure to speak to. She was kind of upset that I called her. She thought the rep I just spoke to gave me her info but I found it in this site. I explained why I was calling. She too told me it was too soon for BofA to accept the proposal and told me to ask for the terms. I told her BofA needs my naca contact person to email them to ask for the terms. She told me it wasn't what they proposed so I don't need them to email BofA. Called BofA back and was told the same thing. All questions needs to be directed to your naca rep. They also asked me if I wanted to drop naca they can open up a new case but naca would need to fax over something to confirm they are no longer representing me. I asked if she could give me the terms to the recently approved mod and if it was acceptable to me I will drop naca. Guess what? She can't do that! I just wanna go shave my head and hide in the temple forever!! Someone help me!!! |

The payment was a little higher and I have to send $700.00 by certified check along with the papers. They want the papers returned by 7-26. This was a fannie mod but I have not seen anybody that had to pay upfront fees. These were for escrow and late fees. I'm just not real happy with this. I am just afraid to start this process all over again. I would better off just asking the bank for the MHA mod. Any suggestions?????? |

It is great to have a support system. I have a simple question. Must I be LATE with payments to qualify for the modification? I called B of A today and they said since i was not ever late that i could qualify for the refinance under MHA. I called the REFI department, they told me I qualify but have to wait a month or so because I carry PMI ! Well, in another month I WILL have missed a payment.... this is just the beginning for me and I feel like i am on the B of A merry go round. Are they just trying to push me away from modification do you think? and Should I try to contact someone higher than whoever answers the phone? I need to get this going ( I am sure you ALL know what I am feeling) My investor is Fannie Mae, I hope she isn't going to be a B**** lol. Oh good gosh... let the games begin ! Thanks in advance for all your help !!! |
