NACA/CW MAY Restructure Submittals I know it's a bit early, but I figured I'd start a thread for us May submittals! I was submitted May 8th. No change on my CW status. Naca status is 'Submitted to servicer - restructure'. <SCRIPT type=text/javascript><!-- google_ad_client = "pub-2956094267214161"; /* 468x60, created 6/4/09 ev-forum */ google_ad_slot = "4894980120"; google_ad_width = 468; google_ad_height = 60; //--> </SCRIPT> [<script type="text/javascript"><!-- google_ad_client = "pub-2956094267214161"; /* 468x60, created 6/4/09 ev-forum */ google_ad_slot = "4894980120"; google_ad_width = 468; google_ad_height = 60; //--> </script> <script type="text/javascript" src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js"> </script>]<SCRIPT type=text/javascript p <>src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js"> </SCRIPT>

Re: NACA/CW MAY Restructure Submittals Can I ask how long it took for the NACA website to be updated? My final review with NACA was on May 15th...at which time they said it would be submitted, (not sure how long it takes to submit) however I haven't seen it on the NACA website yet.

Re: NACA/CW MAY Restructure Submittals We were submitted May 12 too. Instructed to call countrywide one month from then - 5/12. And then every 2 weeks after. Everyone else hear the same thing?

Re: NACA/CW MAY Restructure Submittals I was told to call both NACA and CW at 30 days to see if there was an update. I'd probably need to call back at 45 days, but she's seen updates as quick as 30. She said this could take '6 weeks to 6 months' depending on who the investor is and how quickly CW and the investor respond, plus any staffus along the way.

Re: NACA/CW MAY Restructure Submittals The NACA web site updated with 'Submit to Servicer' after five days though they said they were submitting on that day. I was also told to call NACA back on 5/5 for an update. They didn't say anything about contacting CW/BoA.

Re: NACA/CW MAY Restructure Submittals One thing my counselor told me to do was when I called countrywide (bofa) to ask "have you accepted the offer NACA has submitted on our behalf?" and NOT to ask "Have you gotten our paperwork?" Mainly because they should have our paperwork. But she was very specific about telling me to ask it in that manner.

Re: NACA/CW MAY Restructure Submittals I know - I like it too because it's got a positive ring to it. And with BofA/cw, when you do some assuming with the people on the other end of the phone, you get more info.

Re: NACA/CW MAY Restructure Submittals Can you imagine about 50 of us or more from Loansafe calling David Leighton and saying: "Have you accepted the offer Naca has submitted on our behalf?" Might just creep them out enough to want to process ours and get rid of us! LOL!!!!

Re: NACA/CW MAY Restructure Submittals NACA submitted to CW on 5/11. No more phone calls from Countrywide (2 months behind when submitted, no three months behind as of 5/31) Callled Countrywide looking to see if they had received paperwork from NACA. They had apparently because they had advised me that they could not give me any information because I was represented by NACA. Good sign, I thought. This morning I did what others have done and sent an email B Desoer. Not sure what it would do but nothi ng can hurt at this point... Oh Countrywide rep did tell me that they issued a notice of acceleration. Thought that this was interesting considering I have been two months behind since December. I wondered if that was because I was with NACA. (I did not make a motgage payment in May) Will let everyone know what happens. I found the process with NACA quite simple. Went to the workshop and was submitted within a week. Both phone appointments were right on time. I have refered three people... Hope for the best!

Re: NACA/CW MAY Restructure Submittals kimp4, I am also 3 months behind as of May 31. I got the Intent to Accelerate Letter from CW/BofA this past Tuesday. I submitted through Naca April 15th, and the website says foreclosure proceedings on hold while in workout active processing. I read somewhere that just before you are 90 days late an ITA letter is generated. So you will probably receive that letter any day now! Good luck with your loan mod!

For the people who can't find their NACA status -- please note that I could NOT see the status on NACA website opening page pulldown, I had to go to the "process" pulldown, then sign in and check NACA status from there. It's in the list of STAGES written in bold. | |

Re: NACA/CW MAY Restructure Submittals I hope you are right, Cobra! I just don't understand why I did not get any help or information after my email to Barbara DeSoer's office, just a message from Juanice that she would find out who my negotiator was, then a voicemail from the Presiden'ts office with no message left...just a hangup. So, I forwarded my original email again and asked why I still haven't gotten a response from my negotiator...whoever that might be! By the way, I just read a banking columnist's article in the NY Post in answer to someone's question about getting the run-around when they qualify for a loan mod....author stated that the banks don't really know how to handle the amount of requests they are getting, that you have to be persistent in asking for it and making sure you get to the right dept....either loss mitigation or the president's office only. So i will keep trying!
