NACA/CW MAY Restructure Submittals

My loan is with BoA, but not CW, but I guess it is OK to post my stutus here?

NACA submitted my restructure application to BoA on 5/2/09. I called BoA loss mitigation dept today, they said my file is under review right now. They said it usually takes 40 to 50 days to get a result after they receive it. And the guy said BoA might contact me directly as well when they figure out what they can do for my loan.

I will call back in a couple weeks. Will keep you posted.

David Leighton called left message stating they sent an update to NACA. They are requesting more bank statements. Sent them all over to NACA. NACA called this morning, they can not use unemployment income so we lost 1800 off our income. So now they are requesting a six month forebearance. David Leighton called yesterday, I emailed and called him after the NACA call. This is highly ridiculous. Will let you know

How much time do you have left to receive unemployment? I read that the home affordable require 9 months. If cw would respond quicker we would have 9 months.

My NACA status still says "Pending" I did the chat function a day or so ago and "Jacqeline" said she would check into it with the supervisor of my counselor to see what was happening since we finished giving our paperwork two weeks ago and it still shows just "Pending". Then she never followed up with me, so I called yesterday got a very nice girl who checked into it for me and said "You were submitted May 20th" REALLY? Nice to know! But my status still says "Pending" so she checked with supervisor and they said they did submit to lender, but never bothered to update the website. Nor have they yet! It makes me nervous. I don't know if I can trust that they actually did submit or didn't update website. Who is the bigger goof up at the moment, that is the game I feel we are all playing.

Call BofA to the advocacy department and see if your loan is flagged as NACA. That's what I did to make sure they had it....

Tartbird....my NACA still says pending also.......we were "submitted" May 27....still waiting......hope its just that they haven't updated yet.

Hey, I got some progress today! NACA submitted my file to CW/BOA on 5/5 and this morning I noticed on the bank website that they said they were working on a "workout" but collections would still proceed -- said don't call until after 6/25. BUT, tonight I looked again and it said it was "active processing" and collections have been suspended! They said I would hear something by 7/10. Yay! I am happy to know I don't have to watch for an auction date on my door -- that was stressful LOL.

I don't know if I got a quick response because I sent the certified RESPA letter at the beginning or what -- but I'm glad to see some action in a positive direction so soon. I'll keep you posted!

Yep. Busy like the phone. Hang in there. It took me about 40 minutes. Type in your question and your loan number so that the when they get to you they can get straight to helping you.

OK the NACA counselor said all files get reviewed before being actually submitted...said it can take about 2 weeks....I'm in week 2....so when they said they submitted me May 27 that meant I was submitted to reviewers....Oyyyyyyyy.....I'm wondering how much more my mind can take!!!

So when it says on your NACA account 'submitted - restructure' does that mean that they have sent it to CW or to their in house reviewer? My status changed to submitted the day I had my phone appointment (I did have to submit additional information during my phone interview, so that we could be submitted that day w/out a 2nd appointment).

Usually submitted - restructure means they have submitted to the lender, you may want to do the online chat or call naca for verification. Good Luck!

Yea, I called around today and I have a negotiator at CW as of 6-5. I haven't heard of him/her on here before, though. Anyways. I just wondered if when I saw it switch to 'submitted' if that meant it was cruising through NACA, or if mine was really submitted to CW that first day. Purely for curiosities sake LOL.
