I was told my NACA today when I called for an update that I would receive an email when the approval is done by BOA/CW and another 3 weeks for the paperwork to arrive.

I don't know what they submitted. I think it was for 3% and principal reduction. The offer is 2% without any principal reduction.

Hey Rozuki;

Your workout page info is exactly the same as mine. Even the dates are the same, so I'll bet they have some kind of internal projection as to when they get certain parts of the mod completed, and those are the dates they use. I know for a fact that the letters and emails I sent to Barbara Desoer helped and I would encourage anyone who feels their file is falling thru the cracks to write or email.

I guess I'm back on the emotional rollercoaster. Was thrilled to get my approval email from NACA and happy to hear I would be receiving my documents any day now, but today my teenage son came home to our front door posted with lots of notices of a pending sale date from ReconTrust. Anyone else had this happen? I emailed the person I received my approval from but haven't heard anything eyt. I'm totally freaked out. Any suggestions????

I'm gonna give my contact a few more minutes before I try. She gave me her direct email address and told me to email her if I had any questions so hopefully I'll hear back soon. I think it justs helps to write what I'm feeling and know there are other people out there in the same boat

It doesn't give one. It just says that this property is now in the foreclosure process and I have 20 days for who knows what to happen. My son was trying to read it to me over the phone. Then there was a 2nd notice that said "Notice of Trustee Sale" but he swears he doesn't see a date on there.

I received letters from Recontrust by mail and it listed a sale date. You can go to the county recorders website in your county or state and it will have the document and when it was recorded and the sale date listed.

Update:

None absolutely. I chatted with NACA on Tuesday and was told to fax over the notice I received. My sale date is June 17th. I chatted again and was advised they had not been contacted by the negotiators and to check back next week. I am so freaked out I can't even function. I can't sleep, I can't work basically I'm a mess. Does anyone have any ideas? Should I call CW?

As stated several days ago, I called NACA for a update. I'm just like Rumor-
Trying to get the mod BEFORE I get FC paperwork! Really pretty simple I would think! However...well...we know what we are all dealing with, don't we?
So....the "David L" guy is David Leyton. His number is very close to the number the girl "Julie" gave me when she called two weks ago.
Based on what I am reading we all need to stay on them to keep the files moving forward. So...tomorrow I'll be calling both Julie and David to see where my stuff is really at. Sometimes I get the impression from NACA that
their information is rather "stale". I tend to be a realtime guy and want to know every day what is going on with my mod. I'd really HATE to get that surprise in the mail!
Write your elected officials and tell them you want/demand a national moritorium on foreclosures for the next 12 months!

I finally decided to email Barbara Desoer and see if I can't get some answers. I don't think I can wait thru the weekend for an answer. I'm really trying to stay positive and keep telling myself I so deserve this modification!

NACA submitted my documents on 04/07/09. follow up #1 on 05/12/09 and was told to call back wk of 05/26. follow up #2 on 05/26/09 and was told by naca person that CW wanted naca's proposal based on our financial statement. was told to call back in 2 wks.

NeedhelpCW: I am also current on my payments and there is no work out status on cw website on my account. I'm scared that what the naca rep told me was not true (about cw liking naca's proposal). does this look right for somebody seeking modification with being current on payments? my current loan details are very similar as yours: interest only x7yrs (to reset 2013) @6.125% on first and 8.25% on 2nd. Do you have a 2nd loan? could this be the reason why my modification is taking time?

Hi all,
Yayyy, I got a update to wait another month and a half before calling again. Real early I checked BofA website and was happy to see a update to callback 6/8/2009 then this pm it was changed to 7/2/2009. I call everyone everyday, and email my contacts. I always feel dazed and confused but that is the name of this game I see, they prey on our fear and our desperity, hoping we will accept their insulting so called "modifications". Before I always contenplated things to avoid "making waves" Reading everyday eveyone is writing Barb D in the Prez office, and getting some attention at least... hmmm let me think if I should. It so hard to say don't worry for we never have confirmed answers, PEOPLE DO ANYTHING YOU CAN THINK OF TO SAVE YOUR HOME....THERE IS A DEFINATE PATTERN. I keep calling everyday no matter what and constantly repeat to myself.."There ain't no answers, there ain't gonna be any answers. There has never been any answers. Thats the answer. This forum keeps me sane and my trust in my ability to take it in strides. Angelisa let this forum help you release some fears while impowering yourself with knowledge. And you never get to speak to them???? Sheer insanity....." I told one CW rep that my negotiator is probably in India, she chuckled and said "actually he is." She told me I didnt need to call him "because he talks to only to investors" and I would be notified. I responded "Ok, smart one why call him a negotiator, have you ever thought of that? I mean it makes no sense, is that the new bambooler? I mean even if you really are just reading what they tell you and you have no idea of the truth value. it took me 3 times with the dumb f#$ks at bofa$$holes to get them to tell me... mostly I told them each time I took a guess and finally was told BONY.. trick them, 2 can play their stupid ass games.

I contacted Naca today and was advised that an loan modification offer was made by Countrywide/BofA. However, the representative advised to wait until I receive an e-mail from my negotiator. I asked exactly what was received back, but was not given details only a ballpark amount (not amount originally requested). I guess the e-mail should be sent by negotiator next week and need to wait until then. My modification was sent on 4/26 by NACA.
