NACA March MOD submittals

Well I thought I would start a new thread for those of us who had a NACA restructure submitted in March. Maybe just enter your date submitted to CW. What is your latest update from NACA/CW. And any other helpful info regarding your wait and communications with CW.

Mine Submitted: 3/14/2009 - Per NACA

NACA Update: 4/21/2009 - Still no update from CW per NACA rep.

CW - Continues to call most every day looking for payment of missed payments and has no information on there computers regarding my NACA workout.

CW Online account - Had full access up till a month ago when I declined a terrible MOD from CW, now I have no online access at all.

Re: NACA March MOD submittals

Ours was submitted feb 26th 2009, no update yet. I spoke with naca last week and they said it can take up to 4 months. We are in a active chapter 13 also so i don't know if that could be slowing things up. I hope all of us have good news soon.

Re: NACA March MOD submittals

Sorry to get involved..we were submitted in April but are all of you having problems with CW saying they haven't gotten anything from Naca? They submitted for us about 3 weeks ago and CW still says that they don't have anything from Naca for us. I'm getting a bit worried...I can't figure out if they really didn't receive anything, really disorganized or just lying to us.

Exactly what I have been concerned about! I talk to CW every other day and NACA once a week now. NACA tells me it was submitted and hang on, CW tells me they have nothing and we need to figure out something very soon or else! I have told NACA this and they say that CW does have it and it takes time for it to register!

When your in this kind of holding pattern the mind races and goes to the worse case! What if NACA in error did not send over my MOD, or it got lost, or CW never inputed it in there system etc. etc. etc.

Hey all. I was told by CW that when my chpt 13 was discharged it would still take 30 to 120 days JUST to change the status in their records. Given THAT statement from CW, the documents showed up in messages on mycwide as received and recorded. Yet they still think I'm in the ch 13 and will not call or contact me or talk to me.
Mine was (NACA) submitted? It still says "Submit to servicer - restructer". That was on 4/9.

fyi for naca submittals vs cw confirmation of receipt.

naca submitted my file on 1/20, cw did not confirm receipt or update their systems until 30 days after my file was submitted

Re: NACA March MOD submittals

First off, I'm 6 months late on my first loan and heloc. I have never been harassed or bothered by CW about it. My Naca file was submitted March 7th. I called CW advocacy team last week who told me there was a change in my file. They couldn't tell me anything because I'm working with Naca to call them. I asked if it was good or bad she couldn't say but didn't seem too concerned. Called back Naca who said they would email Naca negotiator to contact CW. Yesterday I called Naca, nothing new to report. I then called the new CW BofA advocacy team inquiring about the making home affordable plan because I believe I qualify in case my naca proposal is denied. I was told letters have been going out for the past 3 weeks for people who may qualify. I was told Naca could submit based on the guidelines of the Obama plan. I was told not to worry about anything because I have a Fannie loan and the "government will help you." Was this his way of telling me something? I also wonder if the Obama plan would benefit me more than my Naca proposal. Anyone have any thoughts or ideas?

I think you have a lot of hope. I think that Fannie is just now starting to accept mods from NACA per the recent agreement with them. I am 7 months behind, have a foreclosure sale date of May 11th, and talked to them today (CW) and they said the invester is generating paperwork for 40 years @ 3%. I`ll believe it when I see it. I submitted 1/20 with NACA. I haven`t slept a good night in weeks, but I`m letting it go for today and going to trust what they are saying.

I wish you all the best, if approved I feel I have a debt to this site and NACA that can never be repaid, but I will try. Hang in there!

zbasspro, Sorry about all the questions. Was this your Naca offer submitted to CW or something completely different? If different, what was your Naca offer to CW? Fannie Mae is generating paperwork? I would think the servicer would need to do this. How did you get CW to talk to you when you were under contract with Naca? What dept? Did you have a heloc also? Thanks in advance for the information. It may come in handy.

Re: NACA March MOD submittals

NACA Submitted to CW on 3/26/2009

As of 4/23/2009- CW (Advocacy Department) did not show NACA on my account.

4 days later.....

CW (Advocacy Department) said as of 04/27/2009 my account is flagged as NACA assisted. (Took 30 days from submission-all other CW departments don't see or acknowledge NACA)

NACA sent follow-up email to CW 4/27/2009

Waiting to call NACA back next Monday to see if CW responded with any questions regarding the re-structure.

dthom.....I really hope you are next! You have been waiting a really long time. Maybe because you had remained current?? I am going to start being late in May too....

Best of luck everyone!

Submitted on the 3/23/09
Have not heard anything from NACA since however Countrywide did send us an offer last week which expires on May 16th
The details were of loan mod brief
added late payments to the loan
4.125% Interest Only but no mention of weather it was fixed or not nor for how long.

Re: NACA March MOD submittals

Hello All:
Naca submitted to CW on 3/18.
Called CW on 3/20 and they confirmed receipt of NACA submittal.
Tried calling CW the following week and they said they cannot give me any information, contact NACA directly for any updates.
Have called NACA several times and they told me they have not heard back from CW and to check back after 45 days.
I am so nervous about this since I am 6 months behind now.
No approval email from NACA as of yet. Hope to hear back soon along with all of you. Good Luck.

Hoping for change;

I also am 6 months behind. Also nervous. NACA submitted 4-8.
Finally have it confirmed that CW received my file.

We all need to "stay the course". Although yestreday I was so worried I could not sleep or eat. It sure is hard to stay positive to work with all this mess floating around you, isn't it?

Hi Cobra,
Yes it is very hard to stay positive. The only thing giving me hope is this forum and all the success stories reported. I would be happy with at least an approval email at this point. I am so scared to lose the house. I am hoping it wont be long before I receive good news.

Hoping;

Me also. It woulb a diaster to loose the house I have worked so hard to keep. Yesterday I was really down but after talking to NACA and CW multiple times today I feel better. I think the fact that we are in workout thru NACA will CW away from the door until the loan mods are done.

No problem with the questions, I`ll do my best here. Naca submitted 1/20 for 3% 30 year fixed with a $7,000 priciple reduction. Yesterday my online workout status changed to:

Please Be Advised - You have a pending transaction status that is temporarily affecting your ability to use this application. In order to better serve you please call us toll free at: 1.800.669.0102 for further assistance. We apologize for the inconvenience.

So I decided what the heck and called them today. (I`ve already called NACA last weds. & Fri. so they asked that I wait a week to call them again =) So I called CW today and didn`t mention NACA, They said the investor is proposing 40 years @3%, and you`re probably right, that they were generating paperwork(CW).

I do not have a heloc, I have a 1st only. I am assuming that it was a counter offer 40 Years as opposed to 30 to get the payment the same without a priciple reduction, because it does come out about the same that way.

I have a thread on my own story that I will update once I know for sure, but I thought maybe that news may give you some hope since you are dealing with Fannie as well. Lastly, I`m sure I would qualify for the Obama plan as well. I hope that helps, and if you have any more questions I check this board a couple times a day, and would be glad to answer if able.
Bob

To you guys that are 6 months behind, don`t sweat it, I am 7 going on 8 and I live in MO which I heard on the news the other day is the 2nd fastest state to foreclose. Granted I`m 13 days away from auction time, but you guys have enough time if you`ve submitted to NACA.

Zbasspro,
Thanks for the words of encouragement. The only good thing for me is that CW has totally stopped the collection calls and sending someone to the house to check on the property.

I have you beat! I am 11 months going on 12 months behind. Already had one sale date come and go (was canceled by CW) and now I have CW/BOA calling most everyday threatening action if I do not pay what is owed ASAP! CW/BOA says they have no info regarding my NACA proposal! Funny thing is that they call most everyday and say the same thing...I tell them the same thing...They enter it in there system and say fine, thank you see ya later. Then they call again the next day and we go right through the same thing I told them the previous day......It is almost like the movie "Groundhog Day".

NACA insures me that my workout has been sent to CW and they do in fact have it. Truthfully I am just waiting for the day I get the sale noticed pinned to my door.

Re: NACA March MOD submittals

Hey all,

BofA called and left a msg today adn I called back. I spoke to the nicest lady that told me that they are no longer Cw and are now BofA. She asked me about the mod that they sent me a while ago that's set to expire in May and I told her that we can't afford a higher payment and she said, that's perfectly fine and proceeded to tell me to call Hope Dept. for a better loan mod because Fannie Mae owns our loan and we should get an interest reduction or maybe even a principal reduction (WOW!!) lol I won't hold out much hope for help but it was funny hearing her tell me that. She told me that I should call Hope right away and refuse the loan mod just so that it doesn't hold up the Naca proposal. Has anyone heard that before? Could they hold up the Naca proposal until their loan mod expires??? Anyway, she asked me if they directed me to Naca and I told her no, I found it on Loansafe's website and she said, ohhh ok, well Naca is a good company and they should really come through fro you and told me that BofA is working very closely with Naca for loan mods. She kept throwing in the name BofA in there and I wonder, could they be trying to steer from the bad name of CW?? Oh well, I guess we'll wait and see what happens...

Re: NACA March MOD submittals

OK, so I called CW today to see if they can give me an update on my account or tell me where I'm at with the NACA mod and they transferred me to the Advocacy Group, who then cut me off right away saying that my account is flagged as NACA and they can't help me. I asked about the mod that I started w/CW since Nov/08 and they said that unless I sign something that says I want to drop the NACA mod, they cannot give me any information on my account.

So nice doing business with CW!!!!!

Re: NACA March MOD submittals

If you were to accept anything from CW/BofA you would void your NACA proposal to them and NACA could no longer work with you. That said, when I spoke with a CW rep last weekend he told me that our account was flagged for NACA and how good that was for us, as in his words "they have access to loan modifications that even he couldn't give us" and I just called because I wanted to find out if we could make a partial payment for April. He advised us not to do that, just to try and make a payment before May 15th of our regular payment amount. We would be past due 30 days, but I can deal with that until NACA comes thru for us. Hang in there for NACA,
