Rejected CW offer in Feb 2009. Went with NACA. Porposal sent from NACA to CW on 4/9 after I called to see if it was sent and it hadn't been.

+Daily calls from Cw and they said nothing about NACA existed.
+Got sale auction court papers 5/5
+faxed doc's to NACA about sale 5/5
+Cw collections calls again today. They went thru their routine. I decided to change what I was saying and I said: Oh I thought you were calling me to tell me that my proposal from NACA had been approved!!!! He said no I am from Collections. I said oh I don't have my negotiators number in front of me do you happen to have it in front of you?
He actually began to look for me. I ended up with the name, can you beleive it? And he went on to look and said yes it looks like they have been doing work on your file that should make you happy! I said oh that's great! He did not give me anymore details. But, I was thrilled after being told by CW that nothing was received from NACA. And my account on CW stills show nothing.
We will see what happens tomorrow. I e-mailed my senators and the President. And I will be talking to NACA on Friday. Hopefully they will stop the auction date. We are 7 months behind.

I too have been tired of dealing with CW. I have been trying since end of January to get a loan mod. I faxed them non stop what they asked for, finally the end of march they acknowledged our papers, we got a negotiator on 4/1 and then on 4/17, they got their lawyers to get a sale date of 6/24. I am mad that they took it that far, they dragged their feet for almost 2 months, I should have started with NACA then maybe this wouldn't have gone this far? I did start with NACA in March they submitted my file this week. I got a call this am from CW telling me that my loan mod was approved but they didn't have they whole figures as they were waiting for the lawyers figures (nice now I get to pay out an extra $15k or whatever to their lawyers) anyways, I am going to call back friday and hope they have the figures so I know what they are offering me. I still have NACA working yet for me, no matter what I have to do what is best for my family. I have also emailed everyone that I could think of begging for help. CW told me that the sale date won't be stopped or postponed until either we are 1 wk from sale date of until we return the loan mods that we should get in a couple of weeks from them. I just hope this is finally the downhill ride

I am sorry to hear about the auction date. Man, it is such a drag just waiting around. Don't know your background on this site and on your exact loan mod issues but, I have seen on this site that if you accept the CW offer you can't turn around and accept the NACA offer.
And also that Cw will try to get you to accept theirs first because it stinks!!!!! So be careful !!Did you fill out the form on NACA's site for when you receive Auction/sale papers? NACA is suppose to be able to stop it 1 week propr to the sale.

Hi guys,

Have a quick question. to keep it short, here's the situation. We're working with Naca, got a "loan mod" from CW that increased our payments and the website was updated as approved. I sent out some emails to CW, got a response from a guy there that assured me our account was going to get looked at asap, faxed over bank statements that he claims Naca didn't send over in the file and today, the part where it was approved is gone. It's basically completely been erased but it does show that they rec'd our bank statements. Shoudl I be worried? or maybe this means that the account is just being worked on???

Ok, I don't know about the (800) 669-6020 number being the office of the president, but I called yesterday and talked to a BofA customer service rep. She was very nice and even though she saw that I was working with Naca when she opened my file, she did not turn me away (like CW does). I explained to her that I had started a mod with CW in 11/08 and never heard back so I went with NACA and they submitted me on 3/18. She told me that she shows that my file is being reviewed and went into process on 3/30. She said that since I started the initial mod so long ago, that she was gonna escalate my file to her supervisor. She said I should call back in 7 days to see if there is a status change.
So I will call next week and post an update here.

I got a call from my negotiator this am first time I have ever talked to him. CW is offering old mpayment 747.90 new payment 997.90 old int 7% new int 7% old maturity date 1/34 new date 5/37 wow what a deal. plus they want 5k up front to cover the legal costs their lawyer got while getting a sale date on us. I could just scream. NACA submitted my file too. I am afraid to take the chance and wait for naca or do I just take the crappy cw deal?

As I understand it from other postings here, once you take the cw deal, you can't go back to NACA because bofa won't talk to them about you. I'd wait. Can you phone NACA for an appointment time? That usually takes about an hour max - the automatic line will say there are "100" callers (or so) in front of you but they go quickly. Also, you may want to upload or fax this offer from bofa to NACA. Doesn't sound too good.

tandm, I was able to get on live chat with Jackeline today after I got the call from CW. She was able to go into my CW account and see the offer. She did reiterate that if I take the deal they are done working for me (naca that is) she said that is what cw is trying to do, get me to take the deal and get naca out of the way. I am still going to upload the mod when and if I get it. According to Jackeline CW will try to bully us into taking a mod no matter how unaffordable it is. I am not going to do that.

When did Naca submit to CW? I didn't get such an email..I wonder if it's for everyone or certain people or maybe just people that were submitted at a certain time. Maybe they send the emails out as needed. I'm calling them though just in case they need it. I need to be as proactive as possible.

Looks like you got the e-mial for attending the Save The Dream Event. Good to know about the new tax form that they will request. I put in an extention for mine. Wonder if 2007's will be acceptable even though they will not show the huge decline in salary that 2008 will show when they are completed.

I just noticed on the NACA site under Process > Step 7 Servicer and Politican Contacts

There is a line under Servicer : Countrywide
that says Owner: Bank of America
I'm sure that wasnt there before has anyone else noticed and does yours say the actual owner or just BofA as well?<!-- google_ad_section_end -->

Submitted 1/26 and have not got this email as of yet. I guess like Rumor I may contact NACA to find out if I need to do the same.
