Re: a question about NACA They called me about a half hour late for one appt. but never missed altogether, but I have read some other threads where they didn't get the call, but I don't think it is routine. i would try calling them. You may have to be on hold for a while so be patient.

Re: a question about NACA One of my calls was even an hour late. Also they are east coast I think. The first time I scheduled my appointment (we are on west coast) they called 3 hours early then I figured out that the appointment set on web is East Coast.

Re: a question about NACA Hi Pdsfoley, After you fill out the online submission, they will email you your NACA ID#. If you fax all the requested documents, you will be able to print out a prepared fax cover sheet from their site which will also have your ID# on it.

Re: a question about NACA I was advised to set up 3 appt. 1st 2nd and 3rd choice. Did you set up 3 or just 1?? I know they are extremely overwhelmed right now so dont give up. It took me several weeks for the phone appt, but they did always call.

Re: a question about NACA When I was scheduling my phone appointments, I always entered the date/time I wanted as my FIRST and SECOND choice. Then for my third choice, I picked the next avaiable appointment. I never had any problems, although I'm sure they weren't as busy then as they are now.

Re: a question about NACA Would you believe that the same question has been on my mind for the past couple of days....CW updated Naca and said that CW will review if eligible for modification and that scared me. Do they deny everyone the way they have a tendency to do while trying to get a modification thru CW or are they pretty much obligitated to help out in some way.

Re: a question about NACA That same question has crossed my mind many times over the last 4 months. But I have not seen anyone here who was denied when going thru NACA. But still when it takes so long you can't help but wonder............. I know my file is being reviewed at CW,as investor wanted to review and so did mortgage insurer, but it was sent to them on the 15th and as of yesterday still no word.

Re: a question about NACA I haven't seen anyone denied either. No one's ever written NACA hasn't helped them that I've seen and I've been pretty diligent about looking. Knock on wood. Let's hope it doesn't start with our batch!

Re: a question about NACA I think the only one's I have seen where someone stated they couldn't help was because they could actually afford the payment and it appeared they were only doing it in hopes of a principal reduction as they felt cheated having a mortgage higher than the value. Or that they had investment property....Other than that, I haven't seen one where the lender did not do some sort of restructure using NACA. Good luck everyone! Knocking on wood too!!!

Re: a question about NACA Yes - I've seen a few people be told NACA can't help them if they have another property - but I've not seen anyone actually not get a good offer after NACA said they could help them. Our neighbor is also going through NACA and she was told that they are bringing in quite a few new loans to BofA and that is also helping them to get our loans restructured - they are giving business to them as well.
