Deed in Lieu on Performing Loan

If bank agrees to take back investment condo and the loan is up to date reporting it as Paid as Agreed..........is that still "negative" reporting as a pre-foreclosure or does it just appear as a paid as agreed mortgage?

Re: Deed in Lieu on Performing Loan

When you go for deed in lieu of foreclosure, it does affect your credit score. iT MAY DROP BY 150-250 points or so. The negative impact reduces with time. At the end of the 7th year, you can request the bureaus to remove it from the report.
