Chapter 13 then HOPE Program?

Hello,
We are starting Chap 13 process to get our financial picture straight and remove the 2nd mortgage. Our 1st is a crap variable with CIT Group with a rage at almost 9%. What I am hoping is that we have a chance after we start the Chap 13 process to use the HOPE program to get into a real low with a rate/payment we can resonably afford. Any body out their seen any thing to suggest this is even possible?

since most of the programs are called Hope for one thing or another.......which program are you referring to?

The HUD Program. I think it is called Hope for Homeowners.

there wouldn't really be an answer to this question just yet with that program...........because out of the 400k that it is supposed to be helping........there have only been around 312 applications nationwide and we have not heard any successes yet.............so I guess once you get your bk underway and your attorney gets the second stripped off.........you will need to, at that time apply.
