BK and Foreclosure - Loan Modification Forum

One thing I fear is spending money to get advised by a lawyer to find out they don't seam to have a complete grasp of my concerns. Do most firms have a free interview type session before one commits to them?

Sorry about the double post, but I just feal so taken by those who have the advantage of education and knowledge of the different industries that live off the consumer.
Who do I feal taken by;
Congress
The President
State Legislature
Banks
Loan Officers
Lawyers
Credit Card companies
etc... and any others that were in a possition of influence who did nothing.

Wow, I better get off the soap box now.
