Trustee Sales Date Postponed after Bankruptcy

I have a loan with BofA and live in California. I filed Ch 13 before my sales date of 2/5/12 and it was postponed until March. My bankruptcy was confirmed in April but yet my sales date is postponed every month for 30 days. How many times will they postpone it?

I too live in Ca and they postponed my sale date untill BK was dischared and the received new date within 3 weeks but I did a Chapter 7 not a thirteen. It has been canceled as I write because I was lucky enough to get a modification. I have heard they can postpone it up to 6 times hopefully someone on here with correct information and experience can give you a better answer. When you say confirmed do you mean discharged?

Hi! Maggies, did they post a new date on your door right after discharge? What type, and how did you get a mod? Congrats btw.

We're in CA too. We just received our ch 7 discharge (a month early) and before we filed, we had a sale date which was postponed. We also applied, and were denied a DOJ mod right after we filed Bk. just wondering how long we have left in our house, and whether we should try for another DOJ mod (they told us to try again after discharge. TIA for any help!
