I am currently attempting to negotiate with WF on our second. My wife and I only have 3 options, short sale, foreclosure, or settlement. Currently we are working on the settlement portion with them, trying to offer 10k which we would borrow from family members. They are very resistant. We would like to keep our home, but are prepared to loose it if that is what happens. In the BK, I live in Washington State and talked with one lawyer already (though it was a free talk), they stated that the loan could not be 'declared' in the BK (though stripping or cramming was not talked about). Do you know if this is possible in Washington State, if so it would at least give me more to work with on WF to take the offer so we can all move forward in life. |
