I've made an appointment but he is not availabe until some time in April. My dilema is this, I know I will let them foreclosure and my credit (low 500's) is already down the hole. I have too much credit card debt and I know I have to file for bankruptcy, so I'm not going to do the short sale unless the attorney suggests I should. My plan is to let them foreclosure and I will move, then I will file for bankruptcy. I have a credit card (now current for 6 months) in my name only due next week, should I make a payment or just leave it because I will file for bankruptcy later? I also have a couple other credit cards in collections already. I have no other assets except a little 401k and my car that is paid for. What I'm afraid is that I will not be able to file chapter 7 and then having to file chapter 13 and then having to pay all that back. Anyone have any opinions? |
