My husband and I are dealing with the same thing right now!!! Our home will be sold on thursday. It started in March of 2011 our payment was sent back to us for being late on our mortgage they didnot send the payment back to us until we were 3 months behind, after trying several modification programs, we were either denied for lack of income or lack of documentation that didnot exist!!! 3 days before Christmas of 2011 we got our sheriff sale notice. Our modification meeting was a joke as well!! I have been a home mom for 11 yrs due to the fact it was more affordable to stay home, I went back to work....and we make double now than when we first bought the house and still are not willing to work with us!!! I have made changes prooved ability to pay even resume my regular payments and still will not help!! I have been back and forth with them I even sent one more work out package into them with hopes they would work with us and postpone the sale date and they will not!!
