HIGHGROOVE - Well...my story isn't a sucess....yet. Both our Fisrt and Second are with IndyMac/OW (both owned by Wells Fargo) We atteneded a NACA event in Los Angeles back in October of 2010. Instead of a "NACA proposal", Indymac went with a HAMP porposal as we were in 'Imminent Default'...well, finally in May of 2011 we were offered a HAMP Trial Payment Plan with 4 payments, the last being on October 1st (which was also the date of the re-set of our loan from a 5yr ARM).
All we heard from IM in October was that our account was under review and to still make the TP...so, we made the 5th TP on November 1st....we were told yesterday that a letter was sent out notifying us that our account is still under review and to continue making our TPs.

So..we started the process...just haven't finished it yet.
I haven't heard many stories on here about sucessful IndyMac HAMP deals....have you??

    Good Luck to you!

    BR

I was offered HAMP modification but it wasn't for my benefit it was for the benefit of the bank.

    loverb,

They had the wrong income for you and you didn't dispute it at the time, and you accepted the modification that way.
