Got the final signed and notarized docs back today, put in for a new unlisted phone number so the rest of the bill collectors can kiss my ass and die,...... life is getting better!

Received phone call from my negotiator this week left a voice mail about being denied for HAMP (2nd time) but for the same reason as the first. During my first application process 8/09 (first payment was 9/1/09) I was told by BOA representative that Im could use the money in the partial payment and that added to the other money could total my first payment. They saw that as a missed payment also I was told that my docs were coming in Dec (so my three payments were over, so I was told to wait and not make a payment because the papers were on their way!!!) Well the December payment was late but I started paying as I could and finally stopped in Oct. 2010 and I have the money in a separate account (in case I need to move into an apartment!!). I was told over the phone in June 2010 that I was denied NEVER received a letter. I Called HOPE/Money management international counseled me, but in July 2010 I found the forums about contacting the OOP, I wrote OOP, President of the USA, everyone!!

Things "got moving", I got bounced around from negotiator to negotiator, and I finally was assigned someone who has been with my file since Jan.2010, he told me I was being allowed to reapply for the HAMP (I was told that I did not qualify for in house, no reasons). Well I was just informed about my denial and it is for the same reason!! Why let me reapply? I understood that I was starting over, my negotiator even told me that it was as if I was just starting an application. What can I do? I also had contacted the HAMP solution center and they said they were going to tell my loan servicer that I needed my file escalated, but I thought it already was so there was no use. I will reopen my file tomorrow, but not sure what direction to go in. I feel like i got hit with an avalanche but I want to fight.

I was unable to find a thread of your own that you started so I am not sure why you were denied the first time. What was the reason that you are being denied for the modification?

Because of the issue of the payments not being applied and after the 3rd payment i was making partial payments.

Oh ok...........So you have someone in escalations looking into it tomorrow for you? They should be able to get it straightened out and get the file reopened and back on track. Also make sure that they are going right to the permanent modification since you have already fulfilled your trial modification. Please let us know what they tell you tomorrow when you speak with them and post it here so we can see what the next step needs to be.

Hamp solutions told me it was up to boa to decide if that discrepancy on both of our parts me i should not have trusted the representative to note the account my second payment for the trial was madr on the 5th instead of the 1st (i had to pay a plumber some of the money becuase i had sewage all over the house my pipes burst). Just spoke to my negotiator he told me there was nothing i could do i failed in house npv test? He gave me the number deed in lieu and short sale. What can i do now?

All hope is not lost just yet. Try contacting Charlie from the Rest Report and have him do the inputs for the NPV to see what is throwing the numbers off. He has also worked on behalf of other members that were in similar situations to get their file reopened and modified.

Thanks This Is It, still waiting to see what happens with the second.
They did offer to settle for 10% but I think that was a last attempt before taking the 2mp settlement, either way I don't have 10% to give them.

I wish I had a video of my wife when I handed her the paperwork, she's probably packed her bags and left atleast five times....
Was it worth it? Watching the tears of joy run down her face for the first time in God only knows how long was priceless.

This has been a long battle for you and I'm sorry things haven't been the best between you and your wife during this time, but hopefully now things will be better from now on out!

Moe, just wanted to let you know I called the register of deeds today and the second lien has been released. Crazy world man, I'm still floored, I think you know how bad the odds where stacked against me. I also wanted to say I've learned a mind blowing amount going through this process with you guys. I feel like I was part of a serious fight that helped make it better for the next guy and I'm pretty proud of that fact. I'll never forget Loansafe and the friends I've made. Peace brother, I wish nothing but the best for you and everyone else too.
