Hi - I posted this on the job boards, but thought I'd post it here as well. Hope it helps someone.

Hi Guys - It's been a long time since I've posted. Doing ok, I guess. The husband has been laid off more than not since June. Economic Recovery... BS!

I've been doing freelance work for a company for almost a year(don't mind the name, I swear it's a business site and nothing lude) www.lovemachineinc.com.

If you are a talented programmer up on the latest technologies, especially PHP, Mysql, Jquery, Android, AJAX, etc...., they pay very fairly and quickly.

Anyone can join, totally free. I DO NOT get any commission on this. My only goal is to give long overdue payback

It's a SF, CA based startup created by Philip Rosedale (former CEO of Linden Labs). There are mostly programmers from Europe with a handful of us in the US. None from India. Not an oDesk deal, they pay! The better the work you do, the more jobs you get.

As I said, just finally paying it forward.

Interesting site. Just got my feet wet with Android, Ajax a few months back so a little rusty so hopefully can try out.

This is the type of thing that's getting funded by investors. Working on some ideas for small business and other applications with demographics and computer mapping.
