I think I am punishing myself ... My daughter is in the process of purchasing a short sale home in Dayton NV. The loan is with Countrywide!!! I told her to WALK and walk fast, but its their so called dream house... The balance owed is 319,000 and they have submitted an offer of 220,000!!! I told her good luck... Well after begging she asked me to help.. Her realtor is frustrated and the seller's realtor is just a plan dumb a$$ - so with that being said do you have any contact numbers are emails I can pass along to the realtor to speed things a long? From what she was told they haven't made a payment in 3 months, the house has been on the market for 6 months with not one offer.... List price is 265,000 - they have not been served a NOD yet...

Any information you could provide would be appreciated....

Sorry Nitag...............I had to be off of the forum for a bit..............

Have the agents call this person...........she is in the office of the president, however, I am not sure if she will be able to help with a short sale, but she should be able to get the agents directly in touch with the right person if she can't help...............

Countrywide still has 6 days to respond so they are still waiting.. Good thing is my daughter isn't in a real big hurry.. They know they went in with a lowball offer and are hoping that countrywide counters and doesn't just decline.. they are prepared and willing to pay 250,000 for the house.. Thats a strong offer and are coming in now with more than 20% down.. We are keeping our fingers crossed but I am not very hopeful...

I think it's awesome that you guys are able to request certain people for help around here and actually get the advice you're requesting.

Since you have not started your own thread and told your story to receive advice, I am not sure what exactly you mean by this ...................I am a moderator of this forum..........I answer all of the members questions and advise if I can......
