Several Wall Street firms recently received doses of the H1N1 vaccine for their own employees. In fact, Goldman Sachs received the same number of doses as a NYC hospital in dire need of the vaccine for high-risk individuals. They are pigs! Why doesn't Wall Street have to wait their turn like the rest of us? They should donate their allotment to their local hospitals and clinics!

Believe - just saw that on the news this a.m. If this isn't an example of classism and the lopsided influence that wall street has in our country, I don't know what is. No matter if you believe in the H1N1 or not, Wall Street should not be first on the list before hospitals and clinics. No way. Shame on them.

Did you bother to read or listen to the reporting ?

Corporations accross the country filed applications for doses, just as they always have.

They weren't first in line and the reason they received same # of doses as the hospital is that it appears to be the minimum # of doses allocated. If you want to be upset about that be upset with the CDC which sets the rules and distributes the doses.

and by the way ... i believe Goldman has a few more employees than 200 ... so perhaps they only requested some to be sure the employees they have that are high risk could be vaccinated.

Why do you want to take this vaccine anyway? Are we basing your decision to take a shot because the press and drug companies says so? Shouldn't that be a reason for concern and to perform our own due diligence into this flu and vaccine?

I don't know about you all, but based on what I have seen during Hurricane Katrina, 911, Iraq war, this foreclosure and jobless crisis and now this Flu BS, I tend to question EVERYTHING I hear on TV.

Have you all read the ingredients in this stuff? Maybe it would be wise for anyone before they shoot some chemical in their blood, to research what is in it first.

I dunno, but that seems like that smart thing to do, right?
