I hope I am posting the right place.

I thought I read that Caldwell was going to NACA?

Wondering how that went? Has one heard from Caldwell?

Morning all. I read that caldwell was going to the event on Sunday, and would likely have to return on Monday?

I am holding my breath too, waiting for some good news from her . . . .

Me too. I hope she set up camp refusing to leave until her loan is modified AND she enjoyed time with her son.

I'm thinking the same thing. I don't even know her, but I can picture her setting up camp and not budging. I'm pulling for her.

I too adore that fireball know where she stands woman willing to speak out like she does. I can't picture her leaving taking no for an answer or if she did she is already gearing up after a break. Hope we hear good news soon Ann!!

I was at NACA this weekend ... it's a long drawn out process and a whole lot of waiting ... I just hope that she got in soon enough and is able to finish! There were a TON of people from Phoenix and from Las Vegas who started the process but then had to drive or fly to SF to finish ... and there's not another one on this tour, so it's the end of the line for awhile ... so let's pray she is able to get results today!!!!

I'm BAAAAAAAAAAAAACK!

Thanks for all the nice thoughts. yes, was at the SF event. I am exhausted. And no, I did not get a final mod.

I was there from 10 to 1 on Sunday and did the orientation.

Monday 6 a.m. to midnight. Saw the NACA counselor from 11-midnight. She was great. Talked about my predatory loan, yadayada. Met some good folks and have alot of comments I'll share after I get my mind back.

Started at 6 a.m. today. waited about 2 hrs and saw Chase. I swear I thought it would be great to see them face to face but I did not see a difference between that and talking with them on the phone. NACA counselor had told me yesterday they submitted a restructure for both of my loans. Chase said no way. That I could "call NACA in 5-10 days" and I could see ifmy lender approved this. It was now escalated. Now let's all try to remember if we've ever heard that word before

... I said my lender non my first ws Deutsche. She said the lender on both loans is Deutsche. I said "when did that happen?" She stuttered and said "we are not allowed to talk about investors" which is BS by the way. So I left. But didn't leave the room. Asked for another Naca negotiator to look at my case. In the meantime I got the paperwork for this company that travels with them and does Forensic Loan Audits for free (I wil be sending them my loan docs). NACA worker couldn't get more out of Chase. But I did sit next to and talk with a woman - Gloria - sorry my notes are in the car so can't remember her last name - who specifically works on Chase for NACA.

So. What did I get out of it? stories I can tell. the same proposal that was supposedly "escalated" on 9/15 and now escalated again. and a NACA negotiator. Was it worth the trip? I'll tell you in 5-10 days. There is more, but I want to peruse the forum a little and get some sleep. I'm at my kids' place in SF. I thought I would drive home today but my eyes keep crossing. I'm too old for this!
