Re: rejected my HAMP loan mod

davephx - thank you so much. you are very active member of this forum.

Do you have any guidelines on what is the max amount i could include for Food on this budget form for a family of 4. I remember reading somewhere - $100/per person per week.

Can I include life insurance & housecleaning & gardening monthly expenses on that chase budget form CHOCFIF - to bring my Gross - Exp =200 surplus. Currently if I use 1600 for food i have 600 surplus.

Look forward to you quick response. I need to send those docs into chase quickly.

Re: rejected my HAMP loan mod

Sorry I do not have budget guideline figures... don't see any were given for NACA I think some credit counselors have them but I don't find any on what I have. I am single and about $200/month as I recall but no idea on family of 4. $1600 for food does sound very high.

Since your over limit of HAMP looks like your doing an inhouse deal where the budget is more important and should show a small surplus using modified loans.
