Advise Please

I have a thread about my issues with CitiMortgage already. I just received a letter from Krista Havens, who has claimed to not be working my file, that I have not signed my new agreement for the current payment plan. I have not signed it as each page I receive from them has a new amount I am due. The HUD counselor in Atlanta even advised me not to sign this back in June. CitiMortgage has been accepting my payments already for July and August without the signed copy. My first NACA phone counseling session is Monday.

Do I have to sign this?

Thanks and that is just it. I was on a special forbearance plan that CitiMortgage seems to not be honoring. My file was rather conveniently not assigned on 6/1/2009 when it was supposed to be up for review for partial claim. Since 6/1/2009 no one has been assigned except paperwork girl --- Krista Havens.

In a letter dated 6/12/2009 I received a new agreement with nearly $1936 more than the amount shown to be due for 7/01/2009 coming out of the special forbearance. Also, this first 6/12/2009 letter indicated I was due for 11/01/2008. The next letter I received moved the months forward to January 1, 2009 but left the amount. The last letter I received, dated for 7/06/2009, was for even more money @ over $8000.

I paid before the date required while on the special forbearance. I do not want to sign something that is different than what it should be and again each letter addresses different amounts.

The special loansafe number has been no help. That is why I have turned to NACA now. The HUD counselor in Atlanta advised me to not sign the agreements as they are an amount CitiMortgage keeps changing---not me. July and August so far I have made my "normal" payments as I did wish to proceed in good faith. I feel as if they are not proceeding in "good faith" based on the differing amounts that they keep sending me.

Evan,

I understand that. As I had stated earlier these are the numbers that have been adjusted out to me. The payments were made for the special forbearance and "normal" payments are being made now. However, the letters show different amounts. I have gone from a letter indicating that I was due in July for $5740.61 for the special forbearance ending (balloon payment), to one from 6/12/2009 $7676.94 for the new plan (balloon payment), to the last letter dated 7/06/09 at $8086.87.

I do not have the funds currently for these ballon payments and the amount required is increasing when no "extra delinquency" has occurred. I have a counseling session with NACA next Monday morning.

Re: Advise Please

Aubie37 NACA should be able to help you. The forbearances that they keep sending you are terrible and I'm not sure as to why they have different amounts on them sounds fishy..

Re: Advise Please

I called this morning and got yet another representative in the homeowner's assistance team at CitiMortgage. Jasmine (EMP# JM27083) gave me that Krista Havens was working my file. I called Krista's voicemail after that call ended and left a message. Krista returned my call and I reiterated to her what all parties within CitiMortage have been advising me---she is the counselor. Krista stated again that she only monitors paperwork and was "reassigning" my file to a long-term counselor, Diane Colley, who would be getting back to me within 24-48 hours. I advised Krista that I have turned to NACA for help based on "all" of the different amounts I keep being sent. Krista assured me that Diane would contact me before Monday.

STILL SPINNING AROUND IN CIRCLES HERE
