Indymac the Worst

Go figure. This bank went bankrupt and is taken over by the government and has the harshest policy of any bank on providing workouts to people in foreclosure.

If you have a sale date on your property, and do not have a Freddie or Fannie loan, they will not postpone your sale date if it is 30 days or less away. You can only get out of foreclosure with full reinstatement of your loan, paying everything you owe, or doing a repayment plan thus paying a lot more than your current monthly payment every month. If you are only one day away from your sale date you can only save your house by fully reinstating! In other words you're totally screwed!

They don't care, they just want to close out all their foreclosure files. They're vicious and cruel. If Indymac services your loan and you have a sale date or one is quickly approaching, prepare for the worst! Consider Chapt 13 BK or suing Indymac!

Over the past couple of years I have seen a lot of foreclosures postponed that were less than 30 days away from the sale date..
