I've spent three days trying to get something started with the firm that advertises here. I think they are overwhelmed. I'm guessing this site doesn't want names mentioned, so if anyone has any suggestions for where to start/howto find experienced modification attorneys, I'd be thankful. Many thanks, M |

It has been a heck of a week with the Stability Plan by our new administration being rolled out. We are reviewing all current client files to see if they may be positively affected by the new programs and that is certainly taking extra time. Please do call back to 951-531-0147 as our receptionists are available now until 5:00pm PST and tomorrow from 9:00am to 2:00pm PST. We will do uur best to help you and your family. Thanks...

I tried to send this to you privately but it doesn't seem to be a forum option. If a mod wants to delete this and send it to Scott privately, that's fine by me. I've given all my information three times to three different people there. The first one seemed competent but went MIA. After many calls and emails, I was finally able to reach someone who told me guy #1 was reassigned to "work on the outside because of his banking experience." The next one sounded like he was reading canned peppy phrases off cue cards (seriously) that had nothing to do with what I asked him. When pressed to speak to my specific questions, he answered that he "saw something on CNN this morning sort of like that . . ." The third promised to run all my numbers and get back to me either yesterday evening or this morning. I can sympathise that you guys must have just gotten totally slammed. I'm just ready to get moving and hoping to engage a knowledgable professional advocate. I'm also feeling wierd about having put very personal details "out there" three times. I do appreciate you responding. Best, M |

If you would like to speak off forum that is fine as well. We have recently expanded and brought in additinal attorneys to help cope with the massive calls for help we receive on a daily basis. Your information, I'm sure, would be in our secure database so it is not "out there" for all to see. Please call or email if we can help you... We will do our best to help if you have a legitimate case. Thanks...

I need to know how to proceed. This firm offerd to help me from my original post. I have done everything that I was asked to do. I have tried desperately to keep up my payments but am falling further and further behind. I am getting mail that I am not sure how to answer and no one is guiding me or even communicating with me as to what is going on I don't know if they have even contacted my mortgage company with my latest info. I am 7 months into this process. It is to late for me to find someone else at this point so what do I do. Is there something going on with this group that I shoud know. anyone have any ideas. |

So far B of A came back with their first offer at a generous reduction of $300 on a $3100 monthly mortgage payment. This 'law firm' has been told to go back & look for real relief. It's been over a month and we have not heard of any proposal. What if the 'law firm' comes back with something that still does not fit with in our new budget. Can I tell them try again? What if they never come up with something that works for us? Can we start this process all over again by ourselves? |
