I started doing research because due to a near fatal rollover accident my husband I were in and subsequent layoffs from our jobs we were getting by on a wing and a prayer but at 1 point fell 2 months behind in our mortage Well today , I got my approval from Litton. Amounts past due atc were rolled back into the mortgage and these are the new terms. 30yr 4.26 interest rate 1st payment not due Until March 1st PITI 1804.69 per month This is a $466.88 savings per month. FYI this is our 2nd modification on the same loan. I really didn't think they would even consider another as the original one was efc Dec 2007. We made 1 payment and then we were in the accident. I suppose it was a blessing in disguise as they interest rate on the 1st mod was at 8% from 9.3% |

I sent my paperwork in on Dec.11 and as of right now I am being told that it is still under review. I was wondering did you call them everyday to check the progress or what steps did you take any steps to get them moving faster? |
