Litton Success story

I have been reading this website for the last 5 months. I started doing research because due to a near fatal rollover accident my husband I were in and subsequent layoffs from our jobs we were getting by on a wing and a prayer but at 1 point fell 2 months behind in our mortage

Well today , I got my approval from Litton. Amounts past due atc were rolled back into the mortgage and these are the new terms.
30yr
4.26 interest rate
1st payment not due Until March 1st

PITI 1804.69 per month

This is a $466.88 savings per month.

THank you Loan safe for all the helpful info on this website.

I was told that they would be sent to us shortly.I'll let you all know if what is in the docs is actually what they told me. FYI this is our 2nd modification on the same loan. I really didn't think they would even consider another as the original one was efc Dec 2007. We made 1 payment and then we were in the accident. I suppose it was a blessing in disguise as they interest rate on the 1st mod was at 8% from 9.3%

Re: Litton Success story

Congrats on your mod! I am in the process of trying to get a loan mod from litton. I sent my paperwork in on Dec.11 and as of right now I am being told that it is still under review. I was wondering did you call them everyday to check the progress or what steps did you take any steps to get them moving faster?

Re: Litton Success story

hello yazzinfla,
I too am working with Litton. Was your new loan within the 38% debt to income ratio?
Again congrats on your modification!!!
