wamu loan - rental property - Loan Modification Forum

Hi Moe and ***,

I have a rental property. The loan is with wamu. Do you know if wamu will modify any loans for rental properties?

What is their contact number for modification dept?

You will have to contact them and see if the investor on the loan will modify a rental.

the best and most direct number is 800 918 4029 if you are an asset loan wamu can mod rental, if it is a private investor, it is give or take, freddie mac/fannie mae-- no rental modification options.

go to www.wamu.com/wamucares and have the borrowers assistance form completed before calling so they can phone qualify you if you have an asset (wamu) or private (other investor) loan
