Legal Questions regarding Loan Mod - Loan Modification Forum

Hi,

May someone tell me is this true. I heard that we can do a loan mod on our own, is it true? Also, do we need to a have license to help friends and neighbors to do their loan mod in California or even do services to help other for a small fee instead of those people that charge $2000 -$3000? is it leagal ? Please response. I appreciate the help.
