Over the past few weeks, I had been reading the threads for help on how to deal with ASC but seems now I have run into a dead end with them. My house was set for auction with a sale date of January 6 but I started the modification process in December so they moved the date for Feb 3rd. Well on January 14th, they said my modification was denied because they showed a deficit of $900. I really do not know where they got there income totals because when I asked them how much income the decline was based on, they said they showed $2800 in income when I submitted all my financials and they clearly showed an income of $3950 a month. Anyways, they said the negotiator had declined it and would not give me any contact info for the negotiator to try to get this fixed because apparently they had entered the wrong information. After my expenses, I should show a surplus of about $400 not a deficit so not sure where they got there numbers. So now they said that I have to talk to loss mitigation again. I did speak to them again and gave them all the financial info over the phone again but now they said that the only option the system gives them is a liquidation even though the financials show a surplus of over $400. That is what it showed when I was supposedly pre approved for a loan modification. I was told last week that it may not be showing the option because since I was just denied that I had to wait a few days to reapply. I waited and reapplied today and still no loan modification option. The rep played with the expenses and said that if I didn't pay any credit cards that I would be able to qualify for a repayment plan but have to pay $2337 by Jan 27th then my payments would be $1950 a month for a year. My original mortgage payment is only $1250 a month so this is a huge leap. I contacted NACA and have an counselor appointment set for tomorrow but I think the sale date is too close for them to do anything and not sure if they can get anywhere with ASC knowing they can't get the loan modification option to show up. Not sure what my next step is on this just was hoping for some advise on where to go from here. Wish I could speak to the negotiator and have them go back and look at the financials that I submitted. |
