My second mortgage with Ditech. lets go back a few months... I have a lawyer and first with HSBC was approved loan mod for 6mos, second with Ditech stated they could lower it to 9% and will get a BPO ...the guy refused to call back me or my lawyer finally got someone to speak to and was told it was denied ... go fiqure NO NOTES !! in the mean I haven t received any calls or late notices.. now 3 months late.. lawyer had them reopen the modification.. still no word and this was a week and 1/2 ago... this is just not the way banks should be doing things.... GMAC is .... I just cant beleive this ....

Keep fingers crossed I hear something soon...

I have a first with HSBC and need a Mod, can you tell me more or less what you've been able to do with them, they don't seem very helpfull, please advise.

Well HSBC is only doing 6mos. mods. and I had a lawyer .. and still only got six mos. then they will reevaluate. I had to stop paying before they did anything .

First mod was denied , no reason , My case was reopened and I recieved my modification this week from Ditech (2nd) they lowered the intrest rate to 9.99% for the life of the loan , principle rate reduction ( about 4000.00), no late fees, account brought current. They said that the 9% was as low as they could go , due to its a second.. My lawyer says I could let it go to chargeoff , they cant foreclouse on a second ,, but it would obviously ruin my credit. so I will stick to the new payment .. it was cut in half... so now I will continue on the 1st . my 6 mons with HSBC will be up in May .. so until then... good luck to everyone
