Bank of America Merry-Go-Round

Hello ALL,
I am new here and we, (my H and I) are just beginning our attempt to get a loan modification from B of A here in New Jersey.

I am documenting, recording and noting everything that transpires between us and the Stonewall called Bank of America, and sent our hardship letter via UPS so I know it was received.

Just to save anybody else a lot of time, perhaps even a full afternoon, the B of A phone numbers below are in a circle so you go nowhere. Don't waste your time:

Cliff Notes: I lost my job last June 2008 and have not been able to re-employ. This plus my husband's 2009 raise was $21/month combined with a new $1000/person deductible for our health insurance. So we're going backwards and are hoping that B of A will modify our loan.

We've got a 30-year conventional fixed at 7%. We could have gotten a lower interest rate but we didn't have any revolving debt (i.e. unsecured/credit card debt) at the time when we bought the house 2 years ago! Damned if you do and damned if you don't.

Any input from someone farther along the littered path to hell with B of A please post your input.
