I just learned today that my equity is down over 200,000....I'm sick. we need to continue to stick together, speak louder, more often and ask for or rather demand help - the notes must be rewritten! |

Put in my 9 digit zip code to get the Representatives in my district - and I sent them all emails! I briefly explained our situation, what we've done by requesting loan modifications. What we can't do because we're not FannieMae/FreddieMac backed. And if something is done soon, we're going to lose our home. I know people don't think that contacting their government gets you anywhere, but it does. I had emailed my governor over another issue. Within a couple of days, I not only received an email back, but I got a phone call that got the ball rolling. This issue was resolved. When you can say, "I contacted the Governor, and ......... " it does make a difference. If everyone on this site would take 10 minutes to email their Governor, then maybe - across the country - we could make a difference!!! It only take one push to get the "snow-ball" rolling and growing!!! |

I had to SIGN a form and mail it in order for him to deal with the Privacy Act. It was a personal response, in response, to my email to him. We'll wait and see what happens from here. |

I haven't heard anything since, but it's only been about a week or so. I did get an email from my governor's office people. They said that he had read my email and they gave me websites to look at for assistance. They also said that the foreclosure/saving houses in the state of FL was one of his concerns and he was working on the issue. I do believe this, because he's help me a couple of times in the past, on other things. And he just put through a very reasonable rate for health insurance across the state - in a personal plan. When I hear something, I'll let you know! |

My house is on a 9 interest rate and at that rate I cannot afford my house I have not lied to tv bank about my household income I am having no luck with dealing with indymac. I make enough money to afford my house at a current fixed rate. I do not mind the principal being updside down right now it will comeback in time and plus I'm thinking long term. My wife is finishing up her school and she will be done by June. With that being said my income will go up some more Rhis yr I just need something for the time being. If you don't me asking can I see your letter that you sent so I can get some ideas. |

You may have to go to your reps web page - to send the emails. And from what I can see, they are reading them. I'm in Jacksonville, FL.... which is suppose to be the #1 foreclosure city in the country in 2009. And FL is one of the hardest hit states over all. I not only asked for myself, but for all families - across the country - for help. We're all in this together...... I stated that what the gov had done to help.... didn't seem to be helping. While the gov was THINKING about things, people were losing their homes! |

If we are struggling on making the payments then we will not have money to put into our economy on a local and overall aspect. What is the first thing people let go of before they let there house go? Cars? Night out at the movies? Black Friday? I will encourage everybody that I know that is struggling to write to their local reprsentatives for help. But we do need to do this together as a group |

Especially if they were getting emails about the same subject..... Saving Our Homes! |
