    Denied hamp, being reviewed for traditional mod-need advice!!

    It has been quite some time since I have been here but obviously we are still struggling to make our mortgage payment. We recently applied for HAMP and was denied due we were already on a HAMP program a couple years ago, yet when you go to the HUD site as of June 1st there are new guidelines which would allow us to apply again yet we are being told by GMAC no because of some BS with having to fall off the treasury something or other.... so we had to resubmit docs to be reviewed for traditional mod, our income has changed in that my husband's income has become quite reduced so the application will be based on my income which is steady for almost 8 years. We only have 9 years left on a 15 year mortgage so I know for a fact if they extend the term the payment can be reduced, it's a Freddie Mac loan. So here I get on this site and go back to a post I made where I state our loan was modified when we never even sent in the paperwork, so would they modify the terms of the loan without us signing anything? With all the stress now I am second guessing myself if loan docs were signed and sent back?? If they did modify with no agreement from us does that mean we really did not get a HAMP and just a inside mod from GMAC?

    The HAMP Tier 2 announcement seems to be made for the Non GSE loans, since yours is Freddie Mac, then you should be considered for the Freddie Mac Standard Modification if you meet the following eligibility;

    Borrower must have been determined to be ineligible for HAMP. In addition, borrowers who received, but defaulted on a HAMP trial period plan, HAMP modification, or other modification are eligible, unless the:

    Effective date of the prior HAMP modification or other modification is within 12 months of the evaluation for the Standard Modification, and Principal and interest payment on the mortgage was reduced by more than 10 percent as a result of the prior modification.

    Example: If the current modified monthly payment is $900 as a result of the prior modification and before that modification the monthly payment was $950, then the mortgage is eligible for a Standard Modification.

    Note: The exceptions above only apply to prior modifications, not prior HAMP Trial Period Plan defaults.

    We applied for HAMP in September of 2009, at the time our mortgage was around 1825, I went through bank transactions after that and found where my trial began, not much of a difference.
    2/1/10-1768
    3/1/10-1775
    4/1/10-1766
    5/1/10-1813 (??)
    6/1/10-1782
    7/1/10-1774
    8/1/10-1774
    1774 seemed to be the normal payment from this point on, and since I paid on line this included a 7.50 charge, so say 1767
    At this point we just need some kind of affordable modification, the stress from this ****s, I just want to breathe again.
