We Should Have and Answer On Permanent Mod Next Week - Loan Modification Forum

So now I've been told that after fighting for a year and making all three trial payments Sept/Oct and November....that now they are ordering title on our house and that is apparently the last thing they have to look at. If it all looks ok we should receive our fedex packet in the mail for our permanent mod!!! Just accept and return and we will be done?
They ordered the title yesterday. We might actually have a YES or NO by next week. Please cross your fingers for us. I am a wreck!

Amy3265,

Not sure who your lender is, but mine was Wells Fargo, and once they told
me the title was requested on a Thursday, the perm mod was done the
following Monday. The assist screen updated to show mod approved and
paperwork on the way. By the end of the week the papers were signed
notarized and sent back and we are done, just waiting to make the first
payment 1/01/10.

Congrats!!! You were able to look yours up online? You said "assist screen?" I'm assuming that's somewhere you can go to see. I wish I could do that

Instead I call everyday and drive all the modification people crazy

I am crossing my fingers that ours is almost over. I am still waiting for them to "find" something else they don't like and turn us down. I know that's a negative attitude but it's been one heck of a bumpy road.
Anyway, CRONGRATS! I am very happy for you!!!
