U.S. Bank NIGHTMARE!!!!!!

Well once again I get a call from U.S. Bank this morning. This time it is from somebody who says that she is processing my mod request.... HMMMM I was told the friday before last that it was DONE and all I needed was to wait for the packet!

Actually, they have no paystub information and need me to send that over ASAP. REALLY??????? AGAIN?????? This will be the 6th time in 2 months that I have done this!!!!

Well at this point I officially can no longer make the payment at the amount that it is so I am now 90 days behind and about to get further. Apparently my trial mod will not be happening for at least "2 weeks"...

WOW. Thats all I can say is WOW.

Why, because they were waiting for your pay-stubs. "Self-Cure" hey look with that additional 2 months you might find a Gold Mine.

You may be right. I have been trying to get this mod since April and have been making my payment EVERY month since. Finally it just got to the point these past 2 months where I could no longer rob Peter (the utilities) to pay Paul (the evil bank) or I would be sitting in a cold, dark house!

Now that I have stopped paying I wonder how long this will take.

What is the consensis? Are most people still paying while under review or not? Am I taking a huge risk doing this?

Call in and talk to a different rep, you will find most reps you speak with have no idea whats going on with your case.

What is the consensis? Are most people still paying while under review or not? Am I taking a huge risk doing this?

Most homeowners undergoing this process are behind on their mortgage. It seems much more difficult to complete if you are current..
