This is from the OCC website concerning modification guidelines. I think people should be contacting Freddie since they are mentioned as the company responsible for auditing compliance.

I also see that there is supposed to be "transparency"....how do we homeowners get to see this?

We should be able to request the documentation, in writing. . . referencing the freedom of information act . . .

Thank you all for posting. We have a larger initiative going on to provide the American Homeowner a voice to get the system in some kind of order.

Please, Please, go to the Huffington article and post a message to the article, link above. We need to bring this fight back to the forefront. If you won't sign the petition, please leave a note at Huffington. Highlight some of your challenges with the issues.

We have contacted Freddie. They send nice form letter thanking for info.

They do not get involved unless they own it and seldom then. They have "oversight' but no enforcement.
