How far behind are you?

I am wondering how far behind all of you are in your payments. Obviously this is a personal question so dont feel obligated to answer but Im trying to gage where everybody else is.

If you are behind and trying to get a mod what is the bank saying? Are they wanting you to keep up on payments while awaiting the mod??

My last payment was April my bank is AHMS and dont have my modification yet Iam so up set !

7 months, although we have been paying consistently over last 6 six months while we were in a forbearance period.

They have sent out a mod package although first payment not yet due.

It took many, many calls, and finally after contacting MHA compliance and the OOP, we got into a program that was within (or at least near) the MHA guidelines.

a bit is a bit of an understatement!

since that was only in relation to that servicer I was curious in general. I went 90 days behind as of the 1st. I am not going to keep making payments while I am waiting on this mod. It is killing me and right now I would like to be able to go grocery shopping and keep the lights on!

We made 5 forbearance-payments before we made 3 HAMP trial-payments. No regular full payments for 2 years.

That's actually a payment to put things on hold and gain time. These payments are less than your regular payments but put you even further behind. These payments are often based on an agreement between the lender and the borrower where the borrower agrees to pay amount x (which is less than regular payment) over a specific timeframe (let's say 6 months) and comes up with the difference between these payments and the regular ones in a lump some after said time (ie. those 6 months).

The lender, on the other hand, agrees not to foreclose.

So it's a kind of "delaying-agreement". Often, it only delays the inevitable - but sometimes, it helps..

I am 5 months behind and am told we are currently with the underwriter who today request HOA Dues proof as they are calculating our housing ratio is what I was told.

4 months w/suntrust. Going to see NACA on 11/7 for some guidance (hopefully). Suntrust said they sent out a Loan Mod package on 10/29 have not received it yet.

We are 7 months behind (4 months with TBW before they were shut down and we filed Ch13) and 3 months with BOA. Currently working with NACA for a mod....

Not yet - but our servicer, SPS, called us again this morning. All docs in place. They told us that a decision will be made within 20 days and if we haven't heard from them 'til the 23rd, we were told to give them a call.

They really seem to have everything under control. No lost docs or 6 months trial here...

If the mod gets denied (God forbid!) what happens with all those months you are behind?

I am 10 months behind. I was denied a loan modification from Chase after being on a 3 month trial period. I am trying to work with NACA to get a modification through them.

I am currently on hold with them now and have been hold for 5 hours now.

Yes, since April. Been denied technically 3 times now, but the second one just kind of went no where...never got a yes or no, I contacted the president of BofA home loans and started a new application with them.
