TODAY WE RECEIVED OUR PERMANENT LOAN (HAMP) MODIFICATION DOCUMENTS FROM SAXON!!!

WE JUST HAD THEM NOTARIZED, AND THEY WILL BE ON THEIR WAY BACK TO SAXON TOMORROW......

We have been waiting soooooo long, and working so hard to achieve this, cannot believe it is real??????!!!!!!

Please everyone, know that it IS possible (even while current, which we were when started our trial payments).

Thank you to everyone who has provided advice and "mental" support - this forum is a godsend.

DO NOT GIVE UP, PLEASE!

Contratuations on the final Mod! I hope we are going to see more and more approved final HAMP modifications coming through. Just when I feel helpless and unhopeful with this process, I read this! I hope I can post a success HAMP story too!

This has been a fabulous day for Loansafe. We heard from several folks that have gotten word of permanent mods and it seems the tide might be turning for some of our family!!

We had Richard's article about our petition on Huffington and we keep getting new signers for our petition!!!

I started this whole process in March '09.... Our loan was due to start adjusting in June

. We would have certainly lost our home if we had not obtained this modification!

No, our trial payments were @ $2,250.00 & our final modified payment is $1,715.00

! (Diff of $535.00!?)

Our payment prior to the start of the dreaded adjustments was $2,450.00 (PITI). Our trial payment was initially calculated at 31% of our gross income, then they added in escrow, using a terribly high estimate. When I entered the trial, it was a new program, and many of the people processing the paperwork were not trained well on the HAMP at that point...... Of course, our payment will go up gradually, but will not ever exceed our original payment amount.
