Our first payment is due 11/1, it was overnighted along with all the paperwork earlier this week. Today I received a notice from the lawyer for Wells Fargo entitled "Settlement Conference In a Residential Mortgage Foreclosure Action". What exactly is this (in laymans terms), and is it beneficial for us to reply and request a conference if we are already working with the lender in a Trial Mod? |

Tell the Wells fargo attorney you are in the HAMP mod. See what they say and go from there Also call the servicer people whomever is assigned to you and ask them if all is well with your HAMP At least that is my opinion as doing nothing may do more harm than good. Also, wait to see who else replies today and see what they say, as someone may have had this happen to them Also do a search on this site and in google to see what comes up |
