Loan Modification with Chevy Chase Bank

Hello Folks,

I recently filed loan mod request for my first and second mortgage (I have both with the same bank). I'm still able to keep up with paying bills and mortgage payments, however it is getting more difficult month to month.

Here are my questions:

1) I'm being told for my first mortgage, it would take about two month to be assigned to a loan mod officer. What Can I do in the meantime?. I would like to proactive if possible.

2) For the second trust, a heloc, how long is the process in general? what can I do in the meantime?

My loan mod request has been in to Chevy Chase since March 08 and they insist they cannot modify because my loan is in a securitized trust. The investor does not allow modification's and they will not tell me who the investor is.
I wish you the best with Chevy Chase. I got Notice of Default seven months ago and have not heard a word about foreclosure when it comes I will not move out I will go to court and my attorney.

Yes the really do suck... I believe PMBVA with what he says. Chevy Chase did a ton of option arms, and they had the WEIRDEST rules for their loans to start out with in the first place...
