if LTV < 100 then what are the options

Means if the value of the home is more than the loan value (not under water yet) then what are the different options home owners have to modify their loans.

I want to hear from all the people in this forum in this situation and what they did.

Lets make this an information thread for all.

If the bank won't agree to a modification, the options are refi, sell, or keep it as is.

Re: if LTV < 100 then what are the options

Problem is the value is above the loan amount but not enough for refi. Now a days for Jumbo loan every one asking LTV of 70% to 80%. To refi in that senario lender are asking us to fund 100 to 200k. I guess it is not at all advisable to put more money into the home. Our current LTV is 87%. Is there any one who could refi with that LTV.
