I sent in my HAMP paperwork

to Wells Fargo today. I included my tax return for 2008 although they did not ask for that, as well as the 1046-T. I made sure to sign, date, and put my loan number on every single thing I sent them, as well as keeping copies for my own records. I also sent back their b.s. forbearance agreement that raised our payments $600 a month not signed and with a letter attached that I STILL do not agree. This whole thing has been SUCH a headache. They denied me when I was current because I wasn't showing hardship, they sent forbearance paperwork for $600 more because they had our financials wrong, and our escrow analysis is still not completed (we are getting a $2,500 credit from the town because they double billed us)

How long is it usually taking after they recieve the HAMP paperwork to get trial payments and then, hopefully, a modification? I feel like this is my second job at this point with all the phone calls, copies, and faxes.

If you had just sent in your package for the HAMP program I would expect to wait at least 45-90 days before a trial period is offered..

Well every case is going to be different and I can not give not give you an accurate timeline. But from all the cases I have seen I know it takes time to get any kind of answer back from the bank..

Re: I sent in my HAMP paperwork

BOA is my servicer after Taylor Bean & Whitaker got shut down, I am like 6 months behind due to large decrease in income, I am on permanent disability SSI. I was told I qualified for the MHA program, my loan is secured by Ginnie Mae, so I submitted the required documents that was on their website and was told to wait 45-60 days to hear from, in the meantime their collectors keep wanting to know when I am going to send a house payment! I said I need to save up money to move in case they do not give me a modification, so I haven't called anymore to check on my application, they just say they received documents and they have been forwarded to a reviewer. I hope Moe does some good for BOA folks who need it!

Honestly, keep calling. Like every day, every other, or at the very least, every week. Make sure they have everything that they need, I would refax all your documents again and make sure you sign, date, and put your loan # on everything. Good luck!
