OneWest Application

Hello, I recently filled out the detailed application on OneWest's website. Sent everything in last week but have not heard a thing. Anyway, one part of the application wants you to check off if your situtation is short term (less than 6 months), long term (more than 6 months) or permanent. What is the difference between long term and permanent. I do not think that I will be in my current financial situation forever. What is the difference to the lender if it is long term or permanent? I would think if you check off permanent the lender will choose to foreclose rather than workout a modification. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Thats strange I have not heard that before.. I don't see what it matters if the situation is long term or permanent as many people have no idea whats to happen in the future...
